Admission 

  • Selection to BA LLB and LLM programmes is done through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
  • A candidate for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) Degree Course should have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an examination equivalent thereto securing in the first attempt, not less than 45% (General) and 40% (in the case of SC / ST candidates and persons with disability) in the aggregate.

National Law University Delhi (NLUD) offers various courses like 5-year integrated BA-LLB (Hons), 2-year LLM programme, PG Diploma courses & a PhD programme in the field of law.

Admission 

  • Selection to BA-LLB (Hons), LLM, PG Diploma will be solely on the basis of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET)
  • Eligibility criteria for the BA-LLB (Hons) five-year programme are that he/she must have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disability). 
  • The candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2021 are eligible to apply.

  • For admission to LLB, it is important that candidates appear for Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT)
  • The candidate must have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).

8. NLU Lucknow (RMLNLU) – Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University

RMLNLU offers BA-LLB, LLM, PhD and PG Diploma courses.

Admission

  • Admission to LLB & LLM programmes are based upon the scores obtained by the students in CLAT
  • To be eligible for admission for BA LLB (Hons.) the candidates should have passed, the Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or an equivalent Examination from a University/recognized Board, securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks (for SC/ST category candidates – 45% of the total marks)
  • No candidate shall be admitted to the LLM Degree Course, unless he has secured in the aggregate not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in all papers in the qualifying  LLB (Hons) (five years integrated programme) or LLB (three years programme) of a recognized University.

9. NLU Patiala (RGNUL) – Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law

RGNUL offers UG, PG and doctorate programmes in the field of Law.

  • The University conducts a PhD Entrance Test for admission to the PhD programme

  • BVoc (Bachelor of Vocation) admissions are merit-based
