Hence, assure to work on your reading abilities apart from the subject-wise preparations.

Now, as you know the fundamental key towards excellence, let us now move forward towards subject-wise expertise tips given below:

  • Verbal Ability: This part of the paper comprises vocabulary questions and reading comprehension. It mostly contains 4-5 paragraphs, followed by 5 questions. Therefore, the main tip for cracking this section is to enhance your reading skills and try to understand the paragraphs in a single go. It is possible only by enhancing your vocabulary through daily reading of books, novels, newspapers, magazines, etc.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: This part has the minimum weightage in the examination. Only 10-12 questions are asked in this part. It mostly includes questions from the maths of class 10th and 12th. Hence, try practising as many mathematical equations as possible from the books of these two standards as only the appropriate practice can make a person perfect in mathematics. It will also include questions about reading comprehensions; therefore, do not forget to practice those.
  • Current Affairs and General Knowledge: It is one of the essential sections of the entire paper. You can score full marks under this section if you have done appropriate preparations. It comprises about 35-40 questions. There is a very simple trick for preparing for the same. It is to be aware of all the latest current affairs and happenings around the globe. Try to focus more on the topics related to technology, economics, general science, art and culture, and books and authors.
  • Logical Reasoning: It comprises about 28-32 questions. It tests your skills related to logical reasoning and thinking. The more you will practice for this section, the better you will become for the same. You can get an idea about the types of questions asked by looking at the previous year’s question papers.
