XpoSat’s

  • XPoSat is the world’s second satellite-based mission dedicated to X-ray polarimetry measurements.

  • Two primary payloads: Indian X-ray Polarimeter (POLIX) and X-ray Spectroscopy and Timing (XSPECT).
  • With XpoSat’s successful launch, India has become second country after United States to send an observatory to study astronomical sources, such as black holes, neutron stars etc.
