September 2, 1939, was a significant date in history, as it marked the beginning of World War II. On that day, Germany, France, and Great Britain did not issue declarations of intent to refrain from inhumane warfare and attacks upon civilian populations. Instead, just two days earlier, on September 1, 1939, Germany, under the leadership of Adolf Hitler, had launched a full-scale invasion of Poland. This invasion marked the start of World War II in Europe.<\/p>\n

Govt. panel to study simultaneous polls to LS, State Assemblies
\n<\/strong>The Indian government, led by former President Ram Nath Kovind, has formed a committee to explore the feasibility of conducting simultaneous elections for State Assemblies and the Lok Sabha (the lower house of Parliament). Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi has confirmed the committee’s formation and stated that updates on this issue will depend on the committee’s report. India\u2019s first solar observatory mission to be launched today
\n<\/strong>India is preparing to launch its first solar observatory mission, AdityaL1, which will study the Sun. The launch will take place aboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Srihari Kota at 11:50 a.m. following a countdown of 23 hours and 40 minutes. The mission aims to provide crucial insights into solar activities and phenomena.<\/p>\n

Indian Navy\u2019s stealth frigate Mahendragiri <\/em>launched.
\n<\/strong>The seventh and last stealth frigate of Project 17A, Mahendragiri<\/em>, was launched on Friday by Sudesh Dhankhar, wife of Vice-president Jagdeep Dhankhar, at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. (MDL) in Mumbai. Mahendragiri <\/em>will join its three sister ships at the Wet Basins of MDL, for remaining outfitting activities and equipment trials.<\/p>\n

NCERT given deemed to be university tag
\n<\/strong>The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has been granted the status of a deemed university, as announced by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on the occasion of NCERT’s 63rd Foundation Day. This development is expected to facilitate global collaborations and contributions in the field of education.<\/p>\n
