India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor
\n<\/strong>IMEC, or the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, is an economic initiative established through a memorandum of understanding signed by leaders from India, the United States, Germany, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Italy, and the EU in New Delhi on September 10, 2023. The initiative aims to create a strategic trade and transportation corridor connecting India with the Middle East and Europe. It envisions the development of a reliable and cost-effective transport network, including railways and ship-to-rail transit, to facilitate the movement of goods and services between India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, and the EU.
