  • Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, inaugurated theHumayun\u2019s Tomb World Heritage Site Museum<\/strong>\u00a0at the Humayun\u2019s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site in New Delhi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • It is the country\u2019s first sunken museum<\/strong>\u00a0that displays over\u00a0500 never-before-seen artefacts.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • The layout is inspired by the\u00a0medieval \u2018baolis\u2019,<\/strong>or\u00a0traditional water tanks,\u00a0<\/strong>showcases the legacy of Mughal emperor Humayun.<\/li>\n

        • Humayun\u2019s garden-tomb is also called the\u2018dormitory of the Mughals\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0as in the cells are buried over 150 Mughal family members.<\/li>\n
        • The tomb stands in an extremely significant archaeological setting, centred at the Shrine of the 14th century Sufi Saint, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n

            • It is caused by theOropouche virus<\/strong>, which belongs to the\u00a0Orthobunyavirus genus.\u00a0<\/strong>It was\u00a0first detected in Trinidad and Tobago<\/strong>\u00a0back in 1955.<\/li>\n
            • Transmission:<\/strong>The Oropouche virus primarily spreads through the bite of a tiny insect called the\u00a0Culicoides Paraensis Midge.<\/strong>\n

              • These minuscule midges are\u00a0stealthy and efficient carriers of this virus<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

                      • It aims to enhance maritime security and awareness in the Indo-Pacific region, and focusing on monitoring and understanding maritime activities in near-real-time.\n
