\n\u2022 India\u2019s rank is 84th in the latest report.
\n\u2022 The ranking is based on 42 variables, covering areas such as government size, property rights, monetary policy, and trade freedom.
\n\u2022 The report has highlighted the global decline in economic freedom over the past three years.
\n\u2022 Countries with high economic freedom show significantly better economic outcomes. For example, their GDP per capita is on average 7.6 times greater than that of countries with low economic freedom.
\n\u2022 Other benefits in these countries include longer life expectancy, lower poverty rates, and higher happiness levels.
