In 1862, Pope Pius IX authenticated the visions, leading to Lourdes becoming a major pilgrimage site. Known for its miraculous spring, it attracts millions seeking healing. Biren Singh resigned as Manipur CM, the BJP began searching for his successor. Sambit Patra met BJP MLAs (excluding seven Kuki-Zo members) and allies. Discussions focused on reconciliation and peace, with the final decision left to the BJP high command. Possible candidates include Yumnam Khemchand, Thokchom Satyabrata, Konthoujam Govindas, Thounaojam Basantakumar, and Thokchom Radheshyam. Headed by State Police Chief Shaik Darvesh Saheb, the 80-member SIT includes officers from the Economic Offense Wing, Crime Branch, and Cyber Division. Key accused Ananthu Krishnan, linked to \u20b9500 crore transactions, was sent back to judicial custody.
