Later, Bihar and Orissa were separated to form new provinces on 1<sup>st<\/sup> April, 1936.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMF clears $3 billion bailout for Sri Lanka<br \/>\n<\/strong>The International Monetary Fund (IMF) cleared a $3 billion Extended Fund Facility (EEF) for Sri Lanka which aims to restore macroeconomic stability and financial stability in debt-ridden island country. It also aims to step up structural reforms to promote growth potential of Sri Lanka. In April, 2022, Sri Lanka had declared pre-emptive default of $51 billion on all its foreign debt to combat economic crisis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>World Water Day<br \/>\n<\/strong>The <em>World Water Day<\/em> is observed annually on 22<sup>nd<\/sup> March to generate global awareness to promote sustainable use and management of freshwater. The 2023 theme of the <em>World Water Day<\/em> focuses on accelerating change to solve water and sanitation crisis. The Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 aims for <em>\u201cclean water and sanitation for all.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Expert committee formed to suggest ways to bring Indian start-ups back home<br \/>\n<\/strong>The <em>International Financial Services Authority (IFSCA)<\/em> constituted an expert committee headed by the former Reserve Bank of India\u2019s Executive Director <em>G Padmanabhan<\/em> to identify the concerns of externalized or flipped start-ups, and to formulate a roadmap to onshore them to the GIFT City in Gujarat. India has the world\u2019s third largest start-up ecosystem with 115 unicorns. Unicorns are the start-ups or firms with billion-dollar valuations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rani Rampal first Indian woman sportsperson to have a stadium named after her.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Indian Hockey player, Ms. Rani Rampal, became the first woman in the sport to have a stadium named after her. The Modern Coach Factory, <em>Rae Bareli<\/em>, has renamed the hockey stadium as <em>Rani\u2019s Girl Hockey Turf.<\/em> Rani Rampal was awarded the <em>Padma Shri<\/em> in 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anti-submarine <em>INS Androth<\/em> launched<br \/>\n<\/strong>INS <em>Androth<\/em>, built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers, is an Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft, whose primary role is to conduct anti-submarine operations in coastal waters, low maritime operations, and mine lying operations.
