According to Section 167 (2) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), an accused is entitled to default bail if the investigating agency fails to file a chargesheet within 60 days from the date of remand.<\/p>\n

Inflation slips to an 18-month low of 4.7%

California State Senate Passes Bill Banning Caste-Based Discrimination
\n<\/strong>The California State Senate in the USA has passed a bill banning caste-based discrimination, bringing the state closer to prohibiting discrimination on the basis of caste. Earlier this year, Seattle became the first US city to pass legislation banning caste-based discrimination, with the city council voting 6-1. Last year, all California State Universities, the largest public university system in the US, added caste to its anti-discrimination policy.<\/p>\n
