This significant day marks the confederation of the British colonies of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia into a single country in 1867. Ottawa is the capital of Canada.<\/p>\n<h2>Summary of Today&#8217;s News<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Knowledge Centre and Space Museum<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Knowledge Centre and Space Museum will be established in Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to honour his contribution to developing India&#8217;s Integrated Missile Development Programme. He is also regarded as the &#8216;Missile Man of India.&#8217; The project is a joint effort by the Kerala Government and the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>India-Africa Partnership<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Vivekananda International Foundation Report presents Roadmap 2030, a set of recommendations to strengthen the India-Africa partnership in four key areas: political and diplomatic cooperation, defense and security cooperation, economic and development cooperation, and socio-cultural cooperation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wagner Group<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Wagner Group is a Russian private military company involved in Ukraine, Syria, Libya, and the Central African Republic conflicts. It was founded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, which has faced accusations of human rights abuses and war crimes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>South China Sea<br \/>\n<\/strong>India supported the landmark 2016 ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague, which rejected China&#8217;s claims to historic rights in the South China Sea under UNCLOS. The ruling found China violated the Philippines&#8217; sovereign rights by interfering with fishing and petroleum exploration and constructing artificial islands. However, China has refused to recognize the PCA ruling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Iran to join SCO<br \/>\n<\/strong>Iran is set to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), a major Eurasian political, economic, and security organization. The SCO, founded in 2001 by China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, is the world&#8217;s largest regional organization in terms of geographic area and population. India and Pakistan joined SCO in 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dark Patterns<br \/>\n<\/strong>Dark patterns are deceptive user interface designs used to manipulate users into making decisions not in their best interests, often used in online advertising.
